Children's Services

Kogarah Community Services provides care for 105 primary aged children daily. Our focus is to provide a range of recreational activities for children in a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. Activities range from sport, art and craft, group games and quiet activities. Before and After School Care is not an extension of school, therefore the children are free to choose what they would like to do. Children are encouraged to play safely, follow the rules, respect the rights of other children, parents and staff at the Centre.

Our OOSH centres are staffed by Qualified and Experienced staff, who are happy to help with your enquiries.

All Kogarah Community Services Inc. OOSH Centres have registered with the National Child Care Accreditation Council for Quality Assurance. This process aims to enhance the quality of care through an accreditation process.

Childcare Benefit (CCB)

Service Philosophy

We aim to provide a quality service for children and families in the community, which reflects their needs and interests. The service will be supportive of families, respect gender and cultural diversity.

Children will continue to develop independently in a safe and nurturing environment, which encourages self-expression and Self-discipline. They will also be encouraged to be involved in programming and have the right to feel respected.

Staff and management encourage parents to maintain open communication and participation to ensure that the families needs are being met.
