Women's Rest Centre

The Women's Rest Centre is a community facilty, located on the southern end of Railway Parade, Kogarah, offering peaceful respite in the Kogarah Community.

You'll find friendly helpful staff, a safe and supportive environment, wheelchair and pram access, accessable toilets, a parent's room and baby changing facilities.*  

* Rated as a 5 star breastfeeding / child care facility by the Australian Breast Feeding Association.

You can take time out for a rest stop. Tea or coffee is provided if you make a donation. Also at the centre is a range of information available about women's health and related issues.

Sue Moodey from the Women's Rest Centre said, "It is great having a safe, comfortable place where women can go to have a rest or feed their babies in between waiting for appointments, have a rest from shopping or wait for a bus".

The service operates:

Monday - Friday 10am - 3pm

The centre is funded by Kogarah City Council which has recently refurbished the building.
