Enrolling in OSHC

Welcome to Kogarah Community Services Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) online enrolment portal.

At KCS we manage all our enrolment’s online via the My Family Lounge (MFL) site.

It’s easy to enrol in our service, simply register for MFL and follow the prompts.

Once you have completed the registration you will need to complete an enrolment form for your child/ren.  To complete the enrolment you will need:

  • CRN’s – if you have not applied for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) yet you can add the CRN’s at a later date.   Please note that the child and parent CRN must be different
  • soft copies of any allergy/asthma action plans, court orders or parenting agreements.
  • the details of an additional emergency contact other than parents/guardians
  • the details of your local GP/medical centre.

Returning Families – 2020 Bookings

For our current families, bookings are now open for 2020.

To book your child into care, log into your MFL account, update and submit your child’s enrolment form.

Bookings can then be made via MFL dashboard or by completing the B&ASC Booking form 2020.

Set up your My Family Lounge (MFL) account

Returning Children

If your child has attended care with us before, login to your MFL account and update and submit the Enrolment details. The email address used to login would be the one set for the Primary Contact.

Not sure of your password, click on Sign-In, then select Forgotten Password and follow the prompts.

New Children
For families new to our service who have not used MFL before, click on the REGISTER button and follow the prompts to create your account.

If you already have MFL account set up from a previous service, log in as per normal via the above link, just make sure Kogarah Community Services is selected from the drop down list on the to right hand side of the home page.

Complete Enrolment

Complete an enrolment form for each child (see tab next to each child's name under the Child section). The enrolment must be submitted for a booking to be processed. The contact information will be populated from the enrolment form , it does not need to entered twice.

Additional health and family information

Please upload a copy of your child's action plan if applicable. If your child is listed on any current court orders, parenting agreements or AVO's a copy will also need to be attached. If your child has any special dietary requirements please be sure to include them on the form.

Permanent Bookings - Before and After School Care (B&ASC)

Complete a booking form ticking the sessions and days required. A confirmation email will be sent once the enrolment form has been submitted and a completed booking form received.
Permanent days can also be booked on the MFL portal via the New Request button under Bookings Requests.

For parents who are re-booking care, to book via the MFL portal, just select Edit next to the most recent booking listed under the Current Bookings section and follow the prompts.
When permanent care is booked online you will receive an emailed offer - you MUST log back into the MFL portal and accept the offer for your booking to be finalised.

Casual Bookings - Before and After School Care (B&ASC)

Once an enrolment form has been submitted care can then be booked via the MFL portal, MFL App or by emailing childcare@kcs.org.au

All casual care is subject to availability

Booking - Vacation Care

There are no permanent bookings for vacation care. Bookings open when the program is released, approximately 4 weeks prior to the start of the holiday period.

Bookings can be completed online via the MFL portal (via the Add Casual Bookings button) or MFL App or via the Booking form.

If a vacation care booking is made online, families will still be required to submit an Excursion Permission Form if excursions have been requested.

CCS - Accepting the Enrolment Notice

Once the booking has been processed, to receive the CCS, parents will need to login to their MyGov account and accept the Enrolment Notice (EN) from Kogarah Community Services.

Please note that the enrolment Start Date showing on the EN will be the date the EN is submitted not the actual date that care will commence. If the details are not correct please do NOT click Dispute, just contact the office so the details can be updated.
